Whom to Invite

All CPSA National members within a 2-3 hour driving time
All non-members, any person you know, or have heard of, who uses or is interested in colored pencil.
All local area college or community college art students.
All local art association members.

Suggested Agenda for the Meeting

Greet attendees and record name, address, phone number and email address.
Ask a volunteer to take minutes, if possible.
Introductions
    This should be an informal exchange for attendees to get to know one another.
Explain purpose, goals and structure of District Chapters
Pass out CPSA national membership applications to those who are not national members.
Explore the purpose and structure of District Chapters.
Discuss the benefits of starting a District Chapter.
Review the requirements for starting a District Chapter (listed on page 1).
After coming to a consensus to start a District Chapter, elect officers.
Discuss meeting locations, dates, and times.
Make a list of possible activities.
Plan the next chapter meeting.
Give attendees a chance to get to know each other during a social hour.
