CPSA members in good standing receive many benefits, both tangible and intangible. Membership allows you to:
- be part of a prestigious and nationally-recognized art organization
- receive the full-color CPSA news magazine, To The Point, published twice yearly
- receive a directory of all CPSA members as of December 31st (request a directory)
- compete in two annual juried exhibitions: one at a gallery and one online
- earn signature status (qualified members may use CPSA or CPX after their name)
- pay lower entry fees for both CPSA exhibitions
- attend the annual convention with meetings and workshops
- obtain results of CPSA lightfastness testing
- join one or more local district chapters to network with other artists
- have your art-related accomplishments featured in To The Point and other CPSA publications
- link to your own personal art-related website from the CPSA website
- appear on a list of colored pencil instructors on the CPSA website
